Hi and welcome to the FIRST EVER Rad Life Blog post! This is exciting! I am Dannika, the Founder of Rad Life Fitness Co., and for so long I have been wanting to start a blog that captivates all aspects of my life- not just the fitness and nutrition side. So here we are! :)

To start, I want to give a full introduction of who I am and help you get to know me :) Let's do this!
I am a (almost) 33 year old Christian wife and mom of 4 rad kiddos whose ages range from 3 to 9. I have been married to my awesome husband for 10 years as of February this year. I am proud of that! We adopted our youngest child in 2021 (that story is another post in itself, in the best way). We move around for my husband's job A LOT- like 6 times in 10 years between 4 different states, a lot! I homeschool 3 out of my 4 kiddos and I find it to be one of the most rewarding gifts that I get to take part in. Last June, I started down my road to healing from Breast Implant Illness and last August I was diagnosed with Sjogren's auto immune disease- that I developed from my breast implants (that too, is a topic for another post- or multiple posts really!). I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2020 as well as becoming certified in Sports Nutrition and Group Fitness shortly after. I am currently working on getting certified as a Glute Specialist and that is a fun one! I am passionate about many things in my life, and fitness and nutrition are high up there on that list! I have loved working out since I was a young teenager and my love of fitness all started when I would workout with my dad in the gym. He is the one who taught me my foundation of weight training. He is who I attribute this passion of mine to. Thank you, Dad, for the many memories riding bikes alongside you as you ran, to eventually running with you, and especially those in the gym lifting weights together. I would also like to give a special shoutout to my amazing husband who supports me in every hobby, business adventure, and new avenue I take- and trust me when I tell you there's been a lot and he deserves a dang medal! I think that about sums up me and what makes me who I am today, but I promise we will dive into ALL these topics and so many more in the days, months, and years to come! We're just getting started :)

So, moving forward, the Rad Life Blog (or RLB) will have posts relating to fitness & nutrition, mom life, raising a Christian family, homeschooling, adoption, raising a child with food allergies, Breast Implant Illness & Auto Immune Disease, cooking, travel, and so much more! This blog is based on my life, my experiences, and what I have learned along the way. My hopes for this platform are to encourage others who may be in a season of life that I have already made it through, or maybe just give a different perspective to things. Either way, I hope you feel welcome here and find yourself diving into this new adventure right alongside me!
Thank you so much for choosing to spend some of your time with me here and I look forward to getting to know you, my readers, and have you back here for the next one! See you next post! (If I am being honest, I haven't quite decided when that next post will be but stay tuned because it will be very soon!)
Live a Rad Life
(this is the motto for RLFC & you will be seeing it a lot around here, it's a great reminder for us all!)
XO,
Dannika
